the most common of Flemings Bond novels only ever published as a first edition .I have heard that
this had a print run of around 100,000. A lot compared with the earlier books. Also the pan 1st
edition paperback is far rarer than the original hardback copy and fetches upto £50 for a nice copy.

COLONEL SUN. First published 1968 by CAPE. Fairly common and doesn't seem to be as desirable
as the Fleming novels or the later ones by other authers. UK Book club edition by The Companion
Book Club.Different DJ design from the Cape 1st.Also was issued as a Delux edition in a leather look-a-like
binding and slightly different DJ and seems to be more collectible than the standard book club edition.

Christhopher wood was commisioned to write 2 novilisations of Flemings books, The Spy Who Loved
Me and Moonraker. Niether had any relation to the original storys except maybe some of the characters
names. Both Books are very collectible and hard to find as 1st Hardback editions.
